Michelle Powell Appointed to Mondays at Racine Board of Directors

New York, NY, April 1, 2019– Mondays at Racine, a nonprofit that helps reduce the physical, emotional and cosmetic side effects of cancer treatments, announced that Michelle Powell, a highly experienced executive with over 25 years’ experience within the telecommunications industry, has been appointed to their Board of Directors.

An 8-year cancer survivor, Michelle knows first-hand how important it is to support those battling this awful disease. Whether it’s providing a sense of community or services that relieve some of the horrible side effects from cancer treatments, even if only briefly, every little act of kindness makes a difference.

“I am honored to join the Mondays at Racine Board of Directors. To be able to officially support the Monday’s Mission that my mother, Mildred, inspired so many years ago is a true blessing,” said Michelle Powell. “I look forward to ensuring that the amazing work this organization is already doing will continue, helping more and more people diagnosed with cancer find relief throughout their journey.”

Michelle lives on Long Island with her family, her husband and her twins, both 20 years old. They love to travel to warm beachy places and enjoy downtime with family and friends.
