Sally Rose Appointed to Mondays at Racine Board of Directors

New York, NY– Mondays at Racine, a nonprofit that helps reduce the physical, emotional and cosmetic side effects of cancer treatments, announced that Sally Rose has been appointed to their Board of Directors.

Sally Rose HeadshotSally Rose, a retired educator, has been volunteering and fundraising in her local community for the past 30 years. Her closest associations are with Mercy Center Ministries and Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center. Most recently she has become involved with the American Cancer Society, co-chairing their annual Long Island event “Babes Against Cancer”.

“I have known Cynthia and Rachel for a long time. I’ve watched Mondays at Racine develop and grow as a result of the hard work and generosity of these two women,” says Sally Rose. “ I am honored to serve on the board and am looking forward to working with them on expanding programs which serve our community.”
